| 内容記述 | 本稿ではまず，言語景観に関する日本の地理学研究を整理し，研究を深化させるために，調査対象範囲を店舗看板以外に拡大すること，景観の作り手・読み手を検討すること，地域差や地名に着目することを提案する。次に，駒沢大学駅周辺の景観中の地名表示 （地名景観） を調査し，地名要素，作成主体，表示目的，設置場所の観点から分類する。地名要素では町名・区名が多いこと，作成主体では事業者・行政によるものが多いこと，表示目的は五つに分類され，発信者名表示と地名表示を目的とするものが多いことなどが判明する。また，地名の位置に対する事業者の認識の点から地名景観の分布を分析した結果，数の多さと分布の広がり，用途の幅の広さから，「駒沢」がおそらく対象範域で最も弁別力の高い地名と考えられていることが明らかになる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper first organizes the Japanese geographical studies of linguistic landscape and proposes to expand the scope of the survey to include more than just store signs, to examine the creators and readers of landscapes, and to focus on regional differences and place names, so that we can deepen the research. Next, place-name displays in landscape (place-name landscapes) near Komazawa daigaku Station are surveyed and categorized in terms of place-name element, creator, purpose of display, and location of installation. It was found that many of the place-name elements are names of blocks and wards, and many of the place-name landscapes are created by businesses and local governments. The paper also made clear that the purpose of display is classified into five types, and many of the place-name landscapes are created in order to display the name of the message originator and that of the place. In addition, an analysis of the distribution of place-name landscapes in terms of businesses’ recognition of the location of place names revealed that “Komazawa” is consid considered the most discriminating place name in the study area, judging from its large number, wide distribution, and the variety of uses. | |||||||||||
