| 内容記述 | セツルメントは、労働者教育の系譜と貧民教化事業の系譜が結実した実践として1800年代後半にイギリスではじまり、世界的に拡大した実践である。我が国には1890年代以降紹介され、社会事業家により実践が始まっている。本論では、先行研究を辿りながら、その経緯をまとめるとともに、役割や機能を分類整理した。なお、本論は、我が国セツルメント実践や思想が、戦後、社会教育と社会福祉に分離し、公民館活動と社会福祉協議会活動および在宅福祉サービス活動に継承されているのではないかとの仮説のもと、セツルメントの歴史を辿りなおしながらコミュニティオーガニゼーションおよびコミュニティケアの原型を探ろうとする作業経過報告であり、結論の導出には至っていない、いわば研究ノートである。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | A settlement practice began in the UK in the late 1800s as a integrated practice of workers education and projects of relief for the poor. And it has spread worldwide in a flash. It was introduced to Japan in the 1890s and has been put into practice by social entrepreneurs. In this paper, I traced previous research, summarized its history, and classified and organized its roles and functions. This paper examines the history of settlement based on the hypothesis that Japan's settlement practices and ideas were separated into social education and social welfare after the war, in particular, it has been inherited by community center activities and social welfare council activities. This is a work progress report to be retraced, and no conclusions have been drawn yet, so it is a research note. | |||||||||||
