| 内容記述 | 駒澤大学には多数の外邦図が所蔵されているが，長らく未整理のままであった。2004年から，地理学科の有志の学生と教員は「駒澤マップアーカイブズ」というグループを組織し，外邦図の整理を始めた。活動の成果として，『駒澤大学所蔵外邦図目録』（初版2011 年，第2版2016年）を発行したり，駒澤大学禅文化歴史博物館で外邦図の展示会を開催したり，オータムフェスティバル（大学祭）で活動成果を展示し発表している。駒澤大学における外邦図の整理や目録作成，研究成果の発表などの諸活動は，学生が主体的に取り組んでいることが特徴である。<br>目録作成の作業をとおして，駒澤大学には外邦図の陸図が約8,000図幅，9,500枚，海図が約1,000図幅，1,000枚所蔵されていることがわかった。その大部分は，元教授の多田文男氏より寄贈されたものと考えられる。また，駒澤大学には，他大学が未所蔵の外邦図が多数所蔵されている可能性があること，および主に多田によって彩色や書き込みがされた外邦図が約1,000枚あることが確認された。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Gaihozu are maps of the areas outside the Japanese territory prepared by former Japanese military and published from the Meiji period until the end of World War II. Komazawa University holds a large number of Gaihozu, which remained unclassified for a long time. In 2004, volunteer students and faculty members of the Department of Geography organized a group “Komazawa Map Archives” (KMA), to classify and arrange the Gaihozu. The KMA published Gaihozu Catalog of the Komazawa University Collection (first edition in 2011, second edition in 2016), and held exhibitions of Gaihozu at the Museum of Zen Culture and History and at the autumn school festivals of Komazawa University. It is a characteristic of Komazawa University that students have taken the initiative in various activities such as arranging Gaihozu, publishing catalogs and presenting research results.<br>The work of publishing the catalogs confirmed that Komazawa University has a large collection of Gaihozu, comprising approximately eight thousand land maps and one thousand charts. Most of them are thought to have been donated by former Professor Tada Fumio. In addition, it was found that Komazawa University may have hundreds of Gaihozu, which other universities do not hold, and there are approximately one thousand Gaihozu, which were colored and written in mainly by Prof. Tada. | |||||||||||
